INSTRUCTIONS: Attach the stem of your tomato plant to the stake by wrapping Magic Tomato Ties in a "figure 8" around the stem and stake. Tie a knot. Do not wrap too tightly. Magic Tomato Ties will expand with growth of plant. |

Use a wooden stake at least 1 inch square and 5-8 feet tall.

Your stakes should be spaced 27-30 inches apart, in rows separated by at least 3 feet.

Your stakes should be firmly in the ground long before you transplant your tomato seedlings.

The first Magic TOMATO TIE should be used at the time of originally setting your transplant outside (do not make this first tie too tight - allow slack for your plant to start its growth).

As the plant grows - Magic TOMATO TIES should be used every 4-5 inches apart - along and up the stake. Keep ahead of the plant. Do not allow branches to droop before providing support or you may break large branches as you tie them.

Try your best to remove all sucker branches, and continue with the ties to develop a single stem plant that is held securely in place but not tightly against the stake. (That is why we recommend using a figure-8 method when tieing your Magic TOMATO TIES).

The Magic TOMATO TIES have built-in stretch which allows for growth of your plant, without cutting into the stem.

Tomato plants need your support and attention. Give it to them and they'll show their gratitude.
